In this post I am continuing to inform and inspire people about how to practice civil disobedience by ignoring the unjust marijuana laws. BTW, these clearly are the most popular posts on my BLOG. The good news is with the Internet and new grow light technologies anyone can raise their own “victory gardens.” First, is a story about how almost all major medical associations are calling for an end to the war on weed. Second, I describe the new LED grow lights that remove almost any chance of being caught. Third, I provide you with a verified list of sites where you can buy all that you need to grow your own. You can order the LED grow lights, hydroponic equipment and amazing seeds online. It is even possible to order marijuana and hashish direct from Amsterdam. Medical Establishment wants to Legalize Medical Marijuana
2nd Largest US Medical Association Calls for Rescheduling of Cannabis
The American College of Physicians (ACP), the nation’s largest organization of doctors of internal medicine and the second largest medical association in the country, called for easing the federal prohibition of marijuana in a position paper released Friday, February 15. The ACP asked the federal government to review the inclusion of marijuana as a Schedule I drug, a classification it shares with drugs such as heroin and LSD. Schedule I substances are declared to have no medical use and a high potential for abuse by the federal government. Since its inclusion as a Schedule I drug in 1970, the scheduling of cannabis has been constantly challenged.
The conflict between federal law and the twelve states where medical cannabis statutes have been enacted have made many doctors avoid recommending medical cannabis as a treatment. Dr. David Dale, president of the ACP, said that contributed to the ACP’s action: “We felt the time had come to speak up about this. …We’d like to clear up the uncertainty and anxiety of patients and physicians over this drug.”
Officials at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy panned the ACP’s move. “What this would do is drag us back to 14th century medicine,” said Bertha Madras, the ONDCP deputy director for demand reduction.” With the ACP now supporting rescheduling, the ONDCP can no longer claim that medical cannabis is not supported by science or the practitioners of modern medicine,” NORML Executive Director Allen St. Pierre said in response. With this action, the ACP joins the American Nurses Association, the American Public Health Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and many other medical associations calling for cannabis to be made a legal medicine.

Religious Justification of Marijuana Use
Cannabis linked to Biblical healing according to the following story from the BBC on Monday, 6 January, 2003.
Jesus Christ and his apostles may have used a cannabis-based anointing oil to help cure people with crippling diseases, it has been claimed. Researchers in the United States say the oil used in the early days of the Christian church contained a cannabis extract called kaneh-bosem. They suggest the extract, which is absorbed into the body when placed on the skin, could have helped cure people with a variety of physical and mental problems. The medical use of cannabis during that time is supported by archaeological records. The article does not question the validity of the miracles reported in the Bible but rather examines whether the early Christian Church may have made use of substances with an active medical effect.
Chris Bennett said cannabis was widely used at the time to heal the sick. “The medical use of cannabis during that time is supported by archaeological records.” He said the ancient anointing oil contained high levels of cannabis extract. “The holy anointing oil, as described in the original Hebrew version of the recipe in Exodus, contained over six pounds of keneh-bosum – a substance identified by respected etymology, linguists anthropologists, botanists and other researchers as cannabis extracted into about six quarts of olive oil along with a variety of other fragrant herbs. “The ancient annointed ones were literally drenched in this potent mixture.”
Mr Bennett suggested the drug may have played a role in some healing miracles carried out by Jesus and his disciples. He wrote: “In the ancient world, diseases such as epilepsy were attributed to demonic possession. “To cure somebody of such an illness, even with the aid of certain herbs was considered exorcism or miraculous healing. Jesus often becomes the final hope for the pharmacologically impaired “Interestingly, cannabis has been shown to be effective in the treatment of not only epilepsy but many of the other ailments that Jesus and the disciples healed people of such as skin diseases, eye problems and menstrual problems.”
Mr Bennett said the findings suggested that it was unchristian to persecute people who used cannabis. “If cannabis was one of the main ingredients of the ancient Christian anointing oil, as history indicates, and receiving this oil is what made Jesus the Christ and his followers Christians, then persecuting those who use cannabis could be considered anti-Christ.”
The THC Ministry, founded by Roger Christie from the Religion of Jesus Church, considers cannabis to be a sacrament. Members base their practices on what they see as an eclectic mixture of ancient wisdom, modern science, and the enlightening and healing properties of cannabis sacrament. Its mission includes “liberating the cannabis hemp plant and the minds of those who do and of those who do not revere it,” and is actively involved in the legal and social discussions surrounding cannabis use in society.
THC Ministry believes that “cultivation and enjoyment of cannabis sacrament is a fundamental human right provided by God and protected by the Constitution.” It states cannabis is the original sacrament of Hebrew, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Shinto, Buddhist, Rasta and more, and fulfills the prophesies to ‘feed all our hungers’. It believes cannabis to be one of the main ingredients in the original Anointing Oil, as described in the Bible. Some members also believe it is the substance used in the Burnt Offerings at the altar and special occasions through out the bible numerous times.
THC Ministry, which is the abbreviated and popularized name for the original Hawai’i Ministry of Cannabis Sacrament and all of its chapters, was founded in June of the year 2000 by Roger Christie in Hawaii. It is present in Australia, Canada, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and many North American states (USA) including Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Tennessee with at least one other chapter forming in New York. It is an officially registered religion in many countries on different continents.
Also see the Free Life Ministry also in the US. They explain that “Under the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, Americans have freedom of religion so, if cannabis is an integral part of one’s religion, it would be unconstitutional to discriminate against or to prosecute anyone for using it. Cantheists hope that gaining recognition as a religion will be a way to avoid prosecution for their use of cannabis.”

Thanks for information on your site about medical ganga. I have multiple disabilites due to a traffic accident, epstein barr, and chronic fatigue syndrome. This is the only medicine that kills the pain so I can function without affecting my liver, etc. like codiene and other junk doctors prescribe. I don’t want to use the clinics because of the feds, so this is our only way!

You may want to severely edit your section on leds as all the data you are providing is based on manufacturer claims and not reality.
By reading that it seems very safe to say you have never grown marijuana yourself so I’ll try and point out the errors.

The urban legend of infrared spying and high energy bills is vastly overemphasized. For one it has been ruled unconstitutional to view a persons home with ir except from public property (the street) without a search warrant, also unless you are running multiple 1000w lamps it isnt an issue anyway. Power consumption can be also in the cases of large operations however a single 600 or 1000 will not be enough to raise any eyebrows. The real sources of busts is informants, weather it be a disgruntled ex or friend, or neighbor that smells the escaping odor. The solution tell NOBODY, and use a sufficient size carbon filter for ventilation.

It just sounds like you are quoting a sleazy ebay ad at this point… The spectrum all lights provide is inherently not balanced being in virtually all cases only two different wavelengths. Unless you are interested in growing leaves the 24/7 comment makes no scence, to trigger flowering plants need at least 12 hours of dark each day. 40% more than what?

While in theory this is correct reality has some problems. First the peak absorbtion efficiency for chlorophyll type a and b are different so just so to be true to that theory there would need to be 4 different colors. That would still be working under the false assumption that mj only needs light at its peak points of absorbtion.
The second problem is that NO manufacturers use leds at the peak absorbtion points so even the high end lights (procyon 100, led ufo, etc) despite their marketing bs are not putting out optimal wavelengths, in fact very far from it. While the units using huge numbers of smaller (generally 5mm) leds are a complete joke as their power effiency is far less and still not anywhere near the correct spectrum.
The final problem is that as noted in every single experiment done with leds marijuana needs more than just red and blue light (even in optimal wavelengths) this is why most led lights do fairly well as vegitative lights but are terrible for flowering.

Okay now im sure you are just copying this from ebay… The heat emitted by leds is hugely variable from underdriven low power acrylic 5mms that would probably only be a bit warm to the touch to high power led chips (luxeons crees etc) that would easily burn you and if not given proper heat sinks burn out within a minute of being turned on.

A few things, transpiration is mostly dependent on the heat and humidity of the enviornment which regaurdless of light source is best at 78 and 90-20% depending on stage of growth. The only part the light plays is the ammount of radiant heat which in any properly set up room is minimal and ir energy reaching the plant which to an extent is necessary for its health. Also in general having too low transpiration is BAD for the plant as it limits the plants ability to take up nutrients, so yes you don’t have to water but if the plant isnt growing who cares?
In a nutshell the issue with ALL led grow lights being commercially produced is the limited spectrum does not offer the plants the necessary spectrum to allow proper transition to flowering. I have been growing for many years and have been experimenting with leds with some success. Recently I managed to achieve better yield per kwh than with hid lighting however having spent well into 4 figures to build it and only saving a few dollars a month on the power bill. I have no vested interest in saying so but as it stands there is no commercially available grow lights that work to flower marijuana PERIOD! The only possible use would be as a vegitative light in which there would be a power savings but for flowering just get a hps for the time being.
As for your links the biggest one missing is http://www.icmag.com/ic/ which is by far the best marijuana growing forum, the faqs and stickys all provide invaluable information as well as having thousands of expert growers at your fingertips.
For seeds there are only 2 companies I would ever suggest using, http://www.drchronic.com/products.asp and http://www.seedbay.com/ As well make sure to have them shipped to a location you will not be growing in and to research the strains and specific breeder instead of just relying on the breeders incredibly biased descriptions.
Lastly Jorge Cervantes’ Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower’s Bible is just about the best all round book out there for growing, he is way biased towards organic but for beginners thats probably best.

I have been taking pain medication since 2000 because of a serious back injury. every time I try to get off them I go through serious withdraws. If I had a choice I would have taken medical marjuana over percription narcotics. I have exoerince with marjuana and I never had whithdraws when I went with out. another reson I dont do marjuana is because im afraid of loosing my job over it due to random drug testing.

Sence most employers require a drug test before getting a job I think this has alot to do with the increase of people doing harder drugs. Marjuana stays in your system up to A month long after you have came down. harder drugs only stay in your system for a few days but are more dangorus and adictive.
